Is This The End

Hey Guys,
Hope you all are doing well...
With all the sadness happening in Ferguson (here), I figured I would share this poem with you all.

-Is This The End?
BOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! Is all that we hear
Do you realize that you are speaking to a death ear
Of many who feel the end is near
Never did I think that in two years, I'd be laying in this bed
With those so many fear
Pillows are overflowing with flies and desert sands
Sheet holds nothing but hatred for the beliefs of other lands
Mattress occupied by those to have perished before me
To enable them the right to dream
Yet they say they do not believe
I begin to make bed
Beside my fellow warrior heads
With time comes a smile
Know that one day will come a change
Where these pillows will be overstuffed with peace
Sheets
Released of hatred and replaced with acceptance
Of others difference
So till the day that I lay on that mattress
And my soul is in God hands
My brothers and I will continue to make this bed

Pray for Mama Africa

Whats up? Whats going on?

As I watch the news, I become heartbroken by all the deaths in West Africa caused by Ebola Virus.  It hits close to home for me because I am Liberian and a lot of my family still reside within the country.  If a lot of you are like me, you can relate to this ---> Honestly I did not know what Ebola was prior to this crisis. I have heard about it but I did not fully grasp how deadly the virus was.  So I have done some research and here are some images that will help you better understand the virus that has killed more then 700 individuals and is quickly becoming a global epidemic.

Where are many way you can help the fight to include fundraisers, prayers, discussions, petitions, etc. :  One that I have become a part if is a petition called Kick Out Ebola From Liberia. CHECK IT OUT!!!!

Cheaper to Treat Her

Hello Guys,
How are you.... I hope I am reaching you in great health.
You guys know I hate buying anything regular price unless I really have to (which is like never)... I love sales and there is no better time to shop than now. With back to school around the corner and the change of the season, every store and online store is trying to clear out the old to bring in the new.  This is the perfect time to maximize your funds.  Here are a few places you may be interested in.  Please share if you know of any others.

Monday's Blues

Happy Monday Everyone
I was channel surfing yesterday and I came across a program on the Opera Winfrey Network. They were discussing how society is so fast paced. We don't take the time to live in the moment and when we do we will begin to see the world in 3D.  I completely agreed with this statement and decided that I was going to start living and enjoying every moment whether good or bad.  I am no longer going to drag through the day but instead appreciate the beauty that is the world we live. How are you going to grow today?

Challenge and Change

Whats going on with you all on this fine day

So while I was in New Jersey visiting family... I found this beautiful cocktail dress in Windsor, the back is open and is simply sexy.  I have been waiting for a time to wear it but that time has yet to come because it is very revealing.  I decided to wear it as a skirt and it turned out really cute. I have learn to not be afraid to alter articles of clothing.  If it does not work change it. Do not be so quick to throw things out.  I officially challenge you to take a look into your closets with a renewed imagination and creative mind.  I am sure there are things that a little alteration can make brand new again. Try it out and let me know what you did not have to buy again.

Simply Things

Hey Guys
Hope you are having a great day
So I was thinking about our move the other day and thought wow, how time flies. I can not believe that four months have already passed of us living in overseas. I can say we are adjusting very well.  We are almost finished with the house, joined a church and have began great friendships. Right now we are working on speaking the language.  It is a lot harder for me then it is for Frog but I refuse to be left behind. I really love living in Germany.  The people, the food and culture is amazing. I can't wait to continue to enjoy this journey with my boo thang.

Bundle of Joy

Hey Friends,
I know, I know.... I have been really "slacking on my pimping" when it comes to blogging but I am back in full affect.

Its been a busy few weeks. I have to telling you guys about the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced. Good friends of Frog and I, had a precious baby girl about a week ago and I was able to be a part of it. Frog and I missed the actual birth by an hour (which was okay because I am really not "about that life") but I was able to hold her right after. She was perfect; just tiny and sweet. She opened her eyes and smiled as to say "I am here to conqueror the world". I could not compose myself... I was so filled with joy because I knew she would be in great hands and loved by so many. Honestly, I am in my twenty's and I have never held a child less than 6 months old. So it was even more cool for that very reason.
